Prestige guide: IPOs, Universes and Legacy Crowns

Prestige is where Cash Empire Clicker becomes a long-term game. Here's exactly how it works.

Taking your empire public (IPO)

IPO unlocks at player level 10 once you've earned $10B in the current run. You receive Investors equal to the square root of (run cash ÷ $100M), rounded down.

Every lifetime Investor adds +5% to all income and taps, and each IPO adds another +8% momentum. The IPO screen shows your multiplier now and after, plus the stage your launch capital starts you at.

What resets

Cash, assets, Research Lab projects, cash-hired managers and stage progress.

What stays

Gems, tickets, every purchase, skins, achievements, player level, printer level, gem-hired managers, Investors, Investor upgrades, Elite Shop items and Universe progress.

Spending Investors

Unspent Investors can buy Investor upgrades (tap power, asset speed, offline earnings, cheaper managers) and, after your first IPO, Elite Shop trophies with permanent effects. Spending never reduces the Investor income bonus, which is based on lifetime Investors.

Universes and Legacy Crowns

After Stage 12 with 10,000 lifetime Investors (and level 40), you can launch a new Universe for Equity Shares (+10% income each). The ultimate prestige, the Legacy Crown, triples all income forever and is kept through everything.

A simple rule of thumb

If the after-IPO multiplier is 1.5x your current one or more and new purchases feel slow, prestige. If it's under 1.05x, the game will tell you to keep pushing — there's no penalty for waiting.
